  • Solar Consultant

    Renova Energy Corp. Outside Solar Sales Consultants educates homeowners to the benefit of alternative energy. They demonstrate the potential layout, function, and benefits of solar photovoltaic systems coupled with battery storage, and other energy efficiency technologies based on customer needs, taking a consultative approach to educate customers on the growing clean-energy industry. Outside Solar Sales Consultants spend more than half of their working time away from the Company’s place of business calling on prospective customers, sometimes inviting prospective customers to the Company’s place of business for demonstration purposes. This position requires the drive, self-motivation, the desire to help customers, confidence (without arrogance), and a high degree of professionalism to represent a product that is truly changing the world. Outside Solar Sales Consultants are the primary external representatives of Renova Energy.

    • Responsibilities:

      • Pre-qualify potential customers for the sale or lease of solar photovoltaic energy systems and schedule in-home consultations.
      • Conduct an average of 1-3 solar presentations each day.
      • Meet or exceed sales goals with no commission caps.
      • Submit accurate and complete paperwork in a timely fashion and work with assigned CA to ensure that this happens.
      • Conduct follow-up calls to make sure all leads are pursued in a timely and efficient manner.
      • Interact with various company departments to ensure the customer has a positive experience with Renova.
      • Keep in close contact with your customers throughout the “going solar” process to ensure a consistent and positive experience.

  • Consultant Assistant

    The Consultant Assistant reports directly to the VP of Sales and is responsible for professionally and courteously handle customer sales updates and requests for documentation. Update Renova Energy systems in compliance with corporate policy, goals, and directives. Each task that a Consultant Assistant performs will ensure that Renova Energy Corp. operates with effective communication throughout each division of the company, as well as our customers. Consultant Assistant will provide support to their Sales Consultants and must maintain accurate and organized information for each job with an awareness of the current status.

  • Solar Installer

    The Solar Installer reports directly to the crew leader. This position will assemble, install, or maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics. May include measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing and solar modules.

    • Responsibilities:

      • Install and secure all safety equipment prior to the start of work
      • Prepare the loading and unloading of materials on job sites
      • Understand and perform the solar array layout
      • Remove and reinstall roof tiles (notching where required)
      • Install rails, racking and modules
      • Conduit bending and wiring
      • Keep job site clean at all times
      • Keep track and maintain company tools daily and report any lost, stolen, broken or defective tools
    • Desired Qualifications:

      • NABCEP entry level certificate
      • Solar Experience is a bonus
    • Mandatory Qualifications:

      • Valid drivers licence with no DUI's in the last five years, and no more then one point on your driving record
      • Drug free
      • must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
      • Work outdoors in extreme conditions

  • Solar Technician

    The primary responsibility of the Solar Technician is to work closely with sales staff to create presentable system layout designs. The right person will be comfortable climbing roofs, discovering shading issues, and being creative in designing the most efficient solar systems on the market.     • Responsibilities:

      • Perform site survey of home/ business. This includes: Measuring the roof, performing a shade analysis report, generate a electrical load survey
      • Performs technical work as assigned in the solar field and assists Solar Engineers in the design and permitting of the power plant.
      • Performs other technical and administrative duties associated with assisting Solar Consultants win business.
      • Ensures work is performed in accordance with Environmental and Safety requirements.
      • Performs work independently and/or in work crews.
    • Mandatory Qualifications:

      • Be able to climb up on a roof via a ladder
      • Carry up to 50 pounds.
      • Have the physical ability to perform the job listed above in the various weather conditions we have in the Coachella Valley.
      • Valid Driver License, NO DUI in the last five years and no more then one point on your driving record.
      • Pass a drug and background check.

  • Service Assistant

    The Service Assistant ensures all service cases are tended to in a timely fashion. Additional responsibilities include checking, scheduling, and opening cases for energy systems showing active alerts as needed, updating cases appropriately, and creating consumables at the completion of tasks.

    • Responsibilities:

      • Daily review of SunPower, SolarEdge, Fronius, SMA/Sunny Portal, Also Energy, and Enphase monitoring websites to check for active alerts on customer systems
      • Assist Service 3 and 2 Technicians in troubleshooting sites, remotely or in the field
      • Track all open cases to ensure service technicians are dispatched for monitoring issues promptly and after a 5-day waiting period
      • Follow through on cases by updating case statuses accurately and completing case work in a timely fashion
      • Maintain RenovaPLUS Project Handover List in a timely fashion
      • Assist with answering incoming calls as needed and redirecting if necessary
      • Troubleshoot and provide case updates over the phone / email with customers
      • Create consumables
